I guess I wouldn't say they are all fucked up, but, in hindsight they may not be the best people for me to live with. I have always gotten along better with women, but maybe three women and one guy just isn't working for me.
One of them is just a bitter person. Complains all the time. But she also has a lot of health problems so I try to understand. I can't imagine what it is like to always be in pain all the time.
Another is just very loud and has company over all the time. All the time.
I actually get along pretty good with the last one. She is very bright and funny. Probably doesn't hurt that she spends a lot of time in her room though.

I don't supose there's a way to make a nicotine patch look cool, is there? The ones I'm wearing are the Walgreen's variety kind and don't come in "clear"...so I've been wearing duct tape over them to make sure it stays on. Addictions bite.

I have tips that might help. My boyfriend was able to quit cold turkey by psyching himself out. First, tell yourself you have never smoked before and believe it. Next is the tough part. The first 3-4 days with out smokes, or patch?, will be the hump to get over, the hell you, and everyone around you go through. My most important tip is this one. Have you ever had food poisening? If you have, you know it makes you sick and repulsed by that food forever. Go into your mind and get sick from smoking. Let it repulse you like food poisening. Hope that helps!
Thank god I'm moving soon. I feel like this neighborhood is turning me into a less empathetic person. The people around here are so ridiculous--it's like they're caricatures or something...Fahk!

Grrrr.... my roommate just straight up finished my entire box of my McCann's Irish Oatmeal from Trader Joe's! Out of like 8 packets, I only got three. And the box had my initials on it.
