Emergency room shuffle: round two. Let's pray there isn't a round three.

My mom had to go back to the ER today (she was just there Friday night) because her wound wouldn't stop bleeding. (She had surgery three weeks ago.) I'm a worrier, so naturally I freaked.

They sent her home, though, and I take her to the doctor tomorrow. I can't handle anything else...

Yeah, it was stapled, but a week after the surgery they took the staples out and it was infected. Now they have to let it drain. (Which I think is so gross.)

gross, for sure. that happened with my brother's hand. he broke it a few months ago and they had to go in and rebreak the bone to set it because he was an idiot and didn't go to the doctor for about a month. when they took the stitches out, it was infected so they had to let it "air out" so to speak. pretty horrible, but from what i gather it's not all that uncommon for that sort of thing to happen either. i wouldn't be too worried about it.

but i'm a worrier too, so i fully realize how hypocritical and inoperative that statement is.

I hate when I'm really, really tired, but just don't want to go to bed. Which has gotten to be every night. See, I love sleep. Sleep is my boyfriend. But it's like there are other things I could be doing than sleeping right now. Like bullshitting on the internet or watching the many episodes of The Big Bang Theory I have on the dvr....

you're not alone in the stupid shit department, either. i fuck up on a daily basis. but, y'know: stupidity, like virtue, is its own reward. it's sometimes entertaining, at least.

i need to stop being lazy and actually get my tattoo instead of talking about how i'm going to get one and continually putting it off. i'm not a big fan of needles, so maybe i'm subconsciously avoiding that. who knows. wouldn't be the first time i played ostrich.

Even though it is thundering like crazy (the sun was out when I got up) it's going to be a great day. I work one day this weekend, am getting a new tattoo tonight, and have the house to myself. I'm quite happy. miao!!

Holy hell. I am so glad to be back in Tennessee. And I don't have an accent. Went to Chicago and some other places for a few days. Spent too damn much time in Indiana. But now I am home. I just can't sleep.

So I've been having computer issues, and haven't been able to get on SG. I kinda even forgot I still had a membership until I saw that money was taken out of my checking acount today. I was actually going to sign up for a year instead of three months, but I guess that won't work. Um, yeah. That's about it.

Tomorrow I am off work. I cannot tell you how happy that makes me. My best friend is in town (actually it seems that she's here more than at home) and we're supposed to wander around Nashville doing random things and documenting them with the digital camera. It's raining right now, so we'll see how that goes.

So yeah. I've been a member since 2004, but only for a month. Now I'm back and actually going to try to use the site and maybe meet some people. We'll see how that turns out.
