Back on the block.
Nebraska was...cold.
There were many reasons to do nothing but drink there, but the cold was the main one.
We did have fun. The wedding was relatively painless and the reception was enjoyable. An open bar usually ups my opinion of an event, even if they water the hell out the hard stuff.
We also had a birthday celebration on Sunday. Just tooled around Old Market Omaha, drinking and eating. Good times.
I didn't see and indication of the supposed indie rock scene out there, but then again I was at a wedding and in consumerville most of the time, so go figure.
I must say the strip malls out there were truly impressive. No little corner 8 storers for that place. Those things stretched for at least a quarter of a mile. 20 or so stores. Neon as far as the eye can see. Ah, middle America.
And now...back to the grind.
