And the infatutation continues:
First, I'd just like to say how pleased I am with the opening credits this season. Those of you have been keeping score should know why. If not, let's just say I wait until about halfway through them before hitting fast-forward.
The second cuts were made and I have to say I agree. Elf-boy and super-scary mama just weren't cutting it for me. It appears at this point that A) if your partner gets cut so do you and B) If you haven't at least somewhat captured my heart, you're toast.
I feel I can start to put the ladies in some sort of order now. As far as the men go there are really only two I'm pulling for. However, there are another two that are growing on me.
Katee is tops right now for me. I think she's committed to being awesome every week (so far) and it shows. Her partner doesn't hurt, of course. Also, big time cuteness factor.
Another one with a partner that doesn't hurt her at all. She looked even more lovely than the previous week and carried herself with grace through an emotionally charged number. *tiny tear*
Every good season of this show has a fledgling romance. It's not really looking like that will happen this year (until the sex tapes get leaked, of course), but at least we have Gev's fascination with Courtney. Understandably so. I mean, she's hot. And she can dance. At least I think so.
Simply put, Comfort is rad. It was a bit rough for her this week when it shouldn't have been, but still her name is Comfort. Fucking Comfort, yo.
Okay, so I know the sassy thing might get old, but for now it's still adorable. She's got to watch her animated face, though. If she gets a truly deep and serious (read: Mia) dance she might not be able to hack it.
I like Jess in some ways (unlike the wife, who unerringly hates on her) but she's a bit of a mess in a dress. She's also partnered with the strongest overall dancer and she knows it. With her self-admitted confidence issues this could really play out badly for her.
Fucking yawn. I'm not even going to link to her page.
I'm calling it now. Gone in week three. Please.
The judges have been especially harsh early on. I feel like they're actually trying to help, though. They want people who are mentally tough and can take criticism and use it instead of divas and drama queens. And so should we all.
