Oh thanks for the comment on my hat pics I get so fucking horny when I take off my clothes! More later.
Well, I had an interesting night last night! Went out with some old friends that we haven't seen in years. It is interesting how people change. We got into this huge discussion about the Israeli/Palestinian conflict and learned that one of our friends has gone from atheist to something resembling right wing wacko. He really believes that Muslims are the descendants of the illegitimate son of Abraham and that their religion and birthright is the cause of their "evil." What a load of crap. Those groups are fighting because of deep hatred that has been perpetuated for thousands of years. Woah. Heavy night. It is always the "loud" extremists that ruin it for everyone. Anyway, I've been reading Lao-tzu, the Chinese Taoist philosopher lately and feel the need to quote this particular translation from the Tao Te Ching.
The external world is fragile,
and he who meddles with its natural way,
risks causing damage to himself.
He who tries to grasp it,
thereby loses it.
It is natural for things to change,
sometimes being ahead, sometimes behind.
There are times when even breathing
may be difficult,
whereas its natural state is easy.
Sometimes one is strong,
and sometimes weak,
sometimes healthy,
and sometimes sick,
sometimes is first,
and at other times behind.
The sage does not try
to change the world by force,
for he knows that force results in force.
He avoids extremes and excesses,
and does not become complacent.
