It wasn't actually called a "tamale party". It was more or less a party, where tamales were present. In addition to various other Mexican foods. It was a good time. wolfwood and I ended up ducking out early and wandering around downtown Madison until two this morning, due to lack of anyone we really knew at the party. But the food was good, so it was well worth the trip.
