drove to springfield thursday night on a whim with lauryn. we went to see amy, who was stopping there on her way to cincinnati, and to hang out with colin, drew, and annie. overall, a good time. saw up, which was awesome but kind of depressing at the same time. bummed around yellow springs for a bit (i'm not much of a hippy so generally it's not really my kind of place, except for darkstar and hahas). today, however, i've driven for as long as i slept last night (4 hours) and i'm kind of out of it. Also, this trip basically ate up the last of my petty cash, which as a smoker, drinker, and generally frivolous spender, i'm in a bit of a bind. oh well i guess.

last night i had one of those dreams that is so intense and seems so real that you wake yourself up. i dreamt that i was being attacked by 2 large, indestructible wasps with stingers the size of hypodermic needles. it was intense. and it probably didn't make matters any better that i was sleeping on a couch in the same room with amy, one of my exs. i may or may not have jolted up in my sleep and made noise. really not sure about the latter. once again, oh well.

the c.r.a.c. hasn't really taken off yet. we might have a house show at jack's place as a party to get people involved.

well i have bukowski to read, caffeine to drink, and many other (not) important things to do. hope everyone's having a good weekend.
