i'm a lot better today and i've done some "retail therapy". it always cheers me up!
well for those that don't know it is the Queens Jubilee weekend. And traditionally it has pissed it down all day. I also have a cold coming on, my throat has been trying to get sore for a round a week now, but the virus has succeeded today grrrr. but fuck the virus AND the rain....i'm off to the pub!
so i now have my 4 days off work. and i'm very happy about this, last weeks "set" at work was bedlam and very errrr sweaty. wearing body armour in 26 degree heat is never comfortable!
i'm off to a new (well it's had a facelift) pub called The Broadfield tonight, i played a solo acoustic gig there once, under the guise "this boys life"....
