Last night we saw the final "supermoon" of the year here in the UK, curiously named the Sturgeon moon, it gets its name from the Algonquin tribes of North America, who noticed that August's full moon coincided with increased numbers of Sturgeon in the rivers and lakes!
It was beautiful to see it rise above Brighton's Palace Pier with the dark carcass of the West Pier in front, a small cheer broke out from people on the beach as it appeared!
Magical!
