As a photographer here in the UK it's frustrating that I can't get out to shoot anything right now, and especially as I had a few hopeful sets lined up to shoot this month, so a bit bummed I can't do these. But the UK, like a lot of the world correctly right now, is currently locked down, so these sets have had to be postponed, and it's health and citizen protection that must come first.
It's given me time to look through a number of the recent sets that are coming through from Hopefuls lately, and there really are some good sets around at the moment. I've decided to concentrate this blog on five of the European sets which have caught my eye, and I hope you like too.
First up, @aleyna with Lumiere du coeur shot by Le Van Gon Tin. This is her first set on here and actually only went live 11 hours ago. A very impressive and brilliant first set, beautifully executed idea, and Aleyna looks a natural in this. I look forward to seeing more from her.
Secondly, @brightmeadow22 with Seductive Rose shot by @drew Here is a hopeful who deserves your attention, again this is posed and shot beautifully, in a nice simple setting, creating a lovely set which flows nicely.
Thirdly, @tashina_dea with Christmas shot by Norbert Frena. I'm guessing this was shot around Christmas time with the cute little tree decoration and red lingerie, and has been delayed in the member review queue as this came out March 31st. Tashina's ink is really something and is stunning to look at, giving her a fantastic Suicide Girls look.
Fourthly, @nessyfly with Immerse Yourself 80' Baby shot by @crisro This set has a really cool feel about it, Nessyfly pulls of those glasses and looks lovely doing so. Beautiful shots in this one, and well constructed first set, hopefully of many.
And, fifth, but by no means least, @nakami with Kuma-morning shot by Mariam. What can I say about this set? I love the location used, it's just perfect for the set, the dark bed and exposed brick! I love Nakami's choice of outfit to wear, and it's a sublime set.
So that's it for now. Unfortunately I'm not shooting at the moment, but once the lock down is lifted I'll be rearranging the shoots I have had to postpone, so you will be able to see the sets here at some point in the future.
If you would like to shoot with me, send me a DM and we can discuss ideas for when the lock down is lifted. My Instagram @brightonrockphotography
