Just spent a week in the hospital. I woke up one morning with the worst pain I've ever felt in my head. The worst pain I've ever felt period, and ever thought possible. I tried to take ibuprofen, tylenol and oxycodone right away but literally 10 seconds after swallowing them I threw them up. Tried, and failed two more times.
Was in no condition to drive myself so I had to call an ambulance.
Got to the hospital and they did a CT scan with contrast, and some labs and a few other tests, gave me pain meds and just waited. The pain meds did not help. It was IV dilauded, which is strong as hell, and quite a bit of it. 3 mg's at a time. Did not help at all.
All the labs and tests came back and showed absolutely nothing so the doctor decided to keep me over night and then run some more tests on me the next day. The next day came and they weren't able to run the test on me for some reason and in the meantime the headache did not get any better.
Finally the next day they performed a CT angiogram on me. That, in and of itself, is a very dangerous procedure for me. I have a disease called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, which can occasionally cause some weakening, and even rupturing of certain blood vessels of the body. If you don't know what a CT Angiogram is, it's where they put a catheter in the femoral artery in your leg, and run that through the arteries of your body and up into your brain, and take a look at your brain from the inside out. They can get 3d scans of your brain that way for testing purposes and can see things that none of the other tests can see.
The results came in, and there is an aneurysm in my head. The disease I have already gives arterial problems sometimes, and Im already at risk for ruptured aneurysms.
The scary part is that my mom died of an aneurysm at the age of 30. Here I am at the age of 30 finding out I now have one.
Hopefully things work out better fore then too.
On some bright sides:
I got a new guitar and I''m absolutely in love with it. I can hardly put it down. It's a 7 string Schecter. I've ALWAYS wanted a 7 string guitar, since I first started playing. To finally have one all these 18 years later is a dream come true and I got the hang of it so quick it's like I've been playin a 7 my whole life and not a 6. I fucking love it!!
Other than the ticking time bomb in my head, I love my new guitar, I absolutely adore my lady Deanna. Life is really pretty good, and I'm trying not to stress out and Trying not to focus on the negative, although it's not always easy.
