they did a special 10th anniversary show at First Ave.
fucking love that Shirley Manson. And Dead 60's opened,
I dug what I heard from them.

Atmosphere with the girl and KEVE, and wordamouth
Good times, but Digitata opened for them, and my heart was stolen, check them out. Turns out P.O.S is really fucking good too, along with Doomtree, damn that girl is limber


Rasputina with Judas, Danielle, JD
I heart them, and it was cool meeting the drummer, he is a laid back motherfucker. Sadly though, as I was introduced to him, my cell phone was attached to my ear...fuck.

Tegan and Sara with the girl
It was good, but I was concerted out by the time it was over.
THey are the cutest girls in the workd though, and they headlined because the Killers re-scheduled, so that was pretty cool shit.


Films:

Kung Fu hustle with the girl and friends
Easily one of my favorites, and will be purchased on DVD as soon as possible

Melinda and Melinda with the girl and wordamouth
Interesting plot, cute story, kind of boring though. But the lead actress is so fucking pretty. And Will Ferrell always keeps me awake.

Palindromes with Judas, Contrast & Pinko
THe fact it came out on Mothers Day weekend is what makes this movie so fucking good. I won't spoil it, but R.I.P. Dawn Weiner.


Saturday is mine and the girl's 6 year anniversary from the day we met.

Also the year anniversary of my Fathers Death.
So we will be going to my Stepmom's in St. Louis Park for Brunch, then to Fairview Hospital to check in with Harvey, then to the Animation Festival at Lagoon Theatre, after that we are going to see Autechre at the Ascot Room....and finally party up with Pie, Alaska, Rylie & Saphire in uptown.

And Thievery Corporation Sunday night with Acidevanglist & Pinko.
