ahhhh ...back from new mexico.
the wedding was cool ...those folks threw down some serious coin and treated everyone very well ...multiple parties over four days and all with open bars ...unfortuantely I couldn't rip it up too much with my daughter with me, but we still had a hill of fun. T'was good hanging with some friends I hadn't seen much in the last few years.
Northern New Mexico is full of some serious juju. The last time I was there I spent an entire night walking around Ghost Ranch with a hottie from Minnesota I had just met in the hot springs of Ojo Caliente. She later wrote me a letter that began with a crazy poem that she would not tell me what it meant or what it was from:
'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
Reading to my daughter the other night from "beyond the looking glass" I discovered that the mysterious poem is a verse of Jabberwocky.
And... New Mexico had not seen rain for months when I arrived this time, but the night before the wedding I slipped into an altered state and did a little rain jig to bring in a few drops for keeping the dust down ...I kinda overdid it as it dumped buckets of rain the next day, letting up only enough for the ceremony to be done outside and then promptly resuming when the two kissed, chasing everyone into the big tent for cover. The next day brought about six inches of hail ...and only in the pocket where they lived! That high desert is a trippy place I dig it.
...and then I arrive home to discover a copy of TS (truly supreme)Grooverider's demo disk waiting to synchronixe and sanctify my synapses. I very much dig that!
two days of work and then another wedding in P-town on top of Tabor this weekend. No rest for the weary.

Thanks for the lovely comment in my badcatjones journal. After birth 3 of this week, K asked if he could start posting here....
I'm not sure when my set will go up, apparently there is no rhyme or reason to whose set goes up when.
Are you a dr? Or is that dr in the groovy sense
I hope the wedding you attend will have weather like what we have here. Sunshine and beautiful, everything smells sweet.
