i can still see you
from 6 stories below
and a block away
i held up a sign that said, "i love you"
i guess it was too dark to see

sometimes a sound snaps me
out of these daydreams that i have
i realize it was my voice
and i wonder who i was talking to...
me or you

there is always a smile on my face
it was you who put it there
but i ignore the lump in my throat
and the tear i almost had
gets frozen to the bottom of my eyelid
before it even has a chance
to give me away

my head knows better
then to talk to my heart
but my heart always wonders
what my head will do next
as it mutters "you're such a pussy"
under it's breath.

and now you sit reading this
from 6 stories up
and hundreds of miles away
wondering what you're gonna do next
as i mutter "you're such a pussy"
under my breath.

so guess who's not coming to visit me?
*sigh* oh well...who wants to get drunk?
