Continuing on the Europe round-up...
Naturally I have to show off my very large clock...
For the Zim fans... we both saw this little fellow at Hyde Park and siad the same thing in Gir voices... "I saw a squirrel"
Picked up a new car to beat the traffic blues from the British Armoury Museum..
..and finally some brightly dressed chaps treated us to a show while passing Her Majesty's humble abode...
Anyway it was then time to leave England behind and head for Europe proper...
After landing in Calais our tour coach - soon to becoem our home for the next 21 days - took us to the lively city of Bruges in Belgium..
This by the way is a bloody costly place to drink. And with over 200 local beers available - it soon got very expensive (but very tasty beers though!)
We then ventured on the Brussels for dinner and a look see - here's the famous 'Mannekin Pis' statue, which, well, speaks for itself...
Then onto Market Square for some very impressive architecture from long before either Australia or USA were even on the map!
After a night's kip we were off to Amsterdam, where we went lookig for 'The Cafes' Not a partaker myself, but the freinds with us assured us they were very good - and definately the stupid grins they wore for teh rest of the day backed that up!
I had to get a snap of this car for laughs - it's more like half a car!
...and potentially whoever built these houses may have spent time at 'the cafes' first!'
OK enough for today more to come tomorrow!
