Took out the stock EMG active pickups on my Schecter Hellraiser C-8, since they seemed stale and lacked life. Very few active guitar pickups except on my other Schecter with Seymour Duncans have impressed me.
I switched out to these acrylic alnico passives a many moons ago from New Zealand. But was stopped dead in my tracks being so busy with life, and it’s just been sitting around waiting to be finished. Will need to find local a guitar tech to wire it and fine tune it up.
