my very first case of stolen artistic property!

I was looking at my friend's list on myspace and noticed that this band "Last Night's Romance" had a new profile picture up. when i looked closer I realized that it was a picture <i>I</i> had taken of the fairfield crop circle in 2003. the photo was obviously stolen from my online portfolio. I'm baffled as to how this musician thought he could get away with stealing my photo and using it as a profile picture when I'm on his friends list. I sent him a nice note:

Hello,
I noticed you were using a picture I took as your myspace profile pic. If you had asked permission to do so I would have gladly let you, but since you seem to have no respect for copyright, I'm going to have to ask you to remove it. thank you.
