I've had a really awesome weekend. I've decided to record all my songs on two albums. I have a date set in the studio this Friday. Plus, I think I may have found a new apartment. It's a lovely little studio.
Oh, the new article about the war on Iraq is interesting and well-written, although I don't agree with it. But what I can't believe is that Camille Paglia thinks we should go to war! I thought she was so awesome. Oh well.
Why do you all think we shouldn't go to war? I need more rebuttals to fling at my roommate who says things like "I wish we could just build a great big bubble around the U.S. and let the rest of the world bomb themselves to death." and "The U.N. is so stupid. They always complain about us but when they need money, we're the first ones they come to. We should just get out of the U.N." I could go on, but I won't. This is what I have to live with. But I really can't complain, things are going so well right now.

About you're patriotic roommate: It's best to argue examples of how badly America treats it's own people. You know how America likes to wax poetic about Human Rights? Well, the stories in Eric Schlosser's Fast Food Nation will make you sick to the stomach and to want to kill over a period of days, the members of the boards and chief executives of all major food corporations. Hmm...I really want to give you solid examples but this isn't really the place to tell you about them.
