I am so glad this week is almost over. I get out of school early Thurs. no school Fri and no school Mon. It can't get any better than that. The kiddies at school have finally adjusted to my latest body mod. The stops and stares have ceased, and turned into loveing admiration for my snake bites. My co-workers at work no more stare at me like some outter space freak, but just glance and smile.
Finally, the people have just accepted who I am, what I look like, and what I stand for. Nonetheless, I still feel most comfortable in my AP Art class.
Now, I know this may sound odd-but my art class is FULL to the brim of individuals who are thriving with talents and are looked upon as nothing more than cheerleader/football player rejects b/c of what they look like. It reminds me of the opening scene in X-Men where the first get a glimpse of the students in class...all exercising their very special "mutant" talents. That's what my classroom is like.
Tray- first look at him and you think he's some emo, suicidal homo guy. In all actually he is one deep intellectual person. I love to converse with him and just let my mind go.
Tessa- Tessa is the true deffinition of difference. One minute she's hotpink and orange dreds, the next she's mohawked out, then she's bald like Brittny Spears! I love her to death and her 3D art is just phenomenal.
Natalie- People dont click well with Natalie because she's smart and likes to give her opinion. A fair haired, fair skinned, light eyed fairy girl with an amazing singing talent.
Ericka- The true expression of a rainbow. She's colorful all over and has this wonderous bubbly sarcastic like "ill-stick-it-to-your-mama-if-i-had-to" kind of attitude. Wether you're bisexual or not, Everyone Loves Ericka.
Now, I may not be as extremely 'different' as they are. I still love following fashion trends, shopping til I drop, and having handbag fetishes but there's just a side of me that is much more comfy hangin out with them than with my other friends. We just-click. They know about my tattoos and piercings and ideas for other extreme measures and the LOVE it. And I love them
