I can't wait for Thanksgiving!
It will be the first time that a lot of my family will meet Spencer. Also, my cousin is bringing moonshine, and Jeff and I are bringing our usual giant bottle of Patron Silver. It should be fun...interestingly fun.
As of yesterday, Spencer is 7 weeks old! Next Wednesday we go in to the pediatrician to get his 2 month shots. This will NOT be a fun appointment
In other Spencer news, I weighed him by weighing myself then, picking him up and getting back on the scale and doing the math. From that I gathered he weighs about 10 pounds! He is now officially OUT of the newborn size diapers, and into the size 1's! Crazy!
Jeff's parents came over and visited on Tuesday:
They were so excited to see him, and completely surprised by how big he's getting! They didn't want to leave the little monkey butt
What are everyone's plans for Thanksgiving? And...what's your favorite tradition for the holiday? We are going to my Aunt and Uncle's house in Nice for dinner. My favorite tradition used to be getting drunk with all my cousins and Aunt and Uncle before dinner, then trying to remember to get everything on the table...many laughs have been had. One year we completely forgot the mashed potatoes until dinner was almost over! But I'm sure new traditions will be started
