Not much to say really. Still love the new haircut, but I get tired of old blogs really quick, and even quicker when there's pics of me on them for some reason...weird I know.
The bestie has started planning my baby shower! I can't wait! It's gonna be a good time. I had to make the guest list...that wasn't much fun. It ended up larger than I thought it would, but she said it was shorter than she expected lol. About half of the list is my family (I have a bigger family than Jeff, I've noticed), and Jeff's family and my friends make up the second half.
Amy's already figured out some games for people to play. I'm glad I don't have to play the games lol, I hate shower games! So now she's talking about shopping for table cloths, paper plates, napkins, and the like. I told her that I can totally help if she wants me to. I know she doesn't have a lot of places to go in Clearlake to find stuff, and we have a few party supply stores down here
I'm pretty excited about it, August can't come quick enough! Although I'm still deathly afraid of being a mom lol.
So here is my schedule/things to look forward to for the next few months:
July 2-3: Camping with a few of Jeff's friends at Stillwater Cove (it's so short because lo and behold I couldn't get the 4th of July off).
July 10: One of Jeff's band's has a show in Willits at the Shakespere Park. They go on at 6, and it's a pretty short set, but should be a fun time.
July 12: I get to go in for my second Glucose Test to make sure I don't have Gestational Diabetes. **Please, please keep me in your thoughts on this, I really really really don't want this. I also don't want to do the test again, it makes me sick because I can't have a lot of sugar anyway, but they still make me do it
August 5-8: We might be going camping with my mom at Lake Almanor. Depends on fundage, and weather, and what Jeff says lol
August 13-15: We will be attending the semi-annual "McFest" at Jeff's Parent's house for Jeff's mom's 50th Birthday. The band will play, people will drink, smoke, and be merry...I'll probably end up going to bed early, but it will be the funnest of times
Augst 21: Baby shower!!
September 4: GREEN DAY AND AFI at the Shoreline Amphetheater!!!! I'll be 8 months prego at a rock show...oh yes, I'm hardcore...
September 5: Mavenist turns the big 2-1!!! I'm not sure what the plan is, but I know this must be celebrated!
October 1: The annual "Octoberfest" party at my bestie's house for her birthday, her hubby's birthday, that also celebrates Halloween, and any other birthday or celebration that could happen in our group of friends during that month. There will be costumes!! As of now, since I'll be INSANELY prego, I'm thinking I'll either be a pumpkin or Juno lol.
October 18: Due date!!!! As of now I'm thinking I'll start maternity leave on October 1st, and it should run through January, but that's always subject to change per doctor's orders, or what work wants, or if I'm just too fat/uncomfortable earlier.
