Our vacation has been nice as a whole the day after we got here was Jeff's Grandpa's wedding (#3). It was a lot of fun My mother in law, Lori and I got up early and helped out with all the decorating and food prep. They were all at a loss when the cake arrived in boxes and wasn't set up, but I jumped right in and "saved the day" as Peggy (the bride) said. The ceremony was beautiful, she is a bluegrass singer and sang "Can I Have This Dance" during the ceremony, it was great! Also it wasn't as hot as it was supposed to be, 98 degrees still, but there was a bit of a breeze.
The next day, Jeff's parents, his Grandpa from his mom's side, and he and I took a trip to Ladonia, Texas to see Jeff's uncle Larry, Aunt Shirley, and their three grown kids and grandkids. It was 111 degrees there, with TONS of bugs and spiders everywhere (of whch I am completely afraid of), and I ended up crying myself to sleep that night wanting to go home. I was miserable to say the least. Nevertheless, we stayed 2 more nights, and ended up having fun, although I never left the house lol. Had some of the best BBQ ever which helped
When we got back to Arkansas the weather was a bit better. Nice and breezy, and nowhere near as hot as Texas. Yesterday we all packed up and drove about an hour to a picnic place called Little Missouri Falls. That was a lot of fun. Jeff and his mom swam a bit, I did all I could not to fall to my death while taking pics lol. Good times! Tonight is our last night and we are going to an old-fashioned sing-in to hear Jeff's new (step?) Grandma sing some bluegrass. The rest of the day will be filled with packing Im sure.
We fly out tomorrow morning at like 11:30, then have a layover in Memphis, and another layover in Atlanta. Then home to SF! We should arrive around 11:45pm. Another loooonnnnnggggg day.
Saturday will be filled with sleeping in, grocery shopping, and GREEN DAY ROCKBAND! (Which we bought Tues when it came out, but haven't gotten to play yet). I hope all is well in SG land!

Also, why are you trying to crush Jeffs world like that
And... Jays birthday is this month. We still haven't made any plans but it falls on a Tuesday (the 22nd) so maybe we can all have a little get together.
