Well we had our Girls Night! **Warning, rant under spoiler at bottom of blog**
It was a lot of fun, Heidi, Amy and Kristal all got here around 3:30, which coincidentally was about the same time that Roomy2 (Mavenist) got home from picking up her new dresser. Danielle wasn't able to make it because she and her boyfriend are moving to Reno! Jeff left for his uncle's house shortly after, and then we all went to In and Out Burger to eat some yummy grub. Neither Amy or Kristal had been there before, so we popped their cherries right.
While we were out and about we went to Ross where I got new rugs for each of our bathrooms, as well as the kitchen! I love them!! I also picked up a couple new black garbage cans. I got really tired of our "white" one that was so stained that it looked like it was grey with black streaks.
After that we all came back to our house and sat around talking forever. At one point, Amy lost her Blackberry inside my couch and it took Kristal, Ricki and I like 20 minutes to get it out...I even got a pretty bruise from it (it's way darker in person btw):
Anyway when Ricki went up to bed, the rest of us (the over 21 crowd) went out to our local Irish Pub: Maguires (which until like a day ago was called Finbar's...totally messed me up, I thought I was lost!) and danced for a bit! Amy and Heidi both got hit on a couple times, Kristal showed her shyness and barely left the table, and we had our own personal bouncer that seemed to be looking out for us.
A good time was had by all.
Now Jay has decided that we should go to Maguire's for St Patrick's Day...I hope I can get the next day off!!
