My Vacation, by Toez
Yeah, I'm a dork...what? My vacation started on Friday, October 17th with a visit from the Jaybo! He finally got to come home for a weekend, and he brought Rock Band 2 with him! The weekend was full of rocking out, while also getting to know Miss Mavenist! She's awesome, so glad we are getting to know her!
On Sunday, Jeff and I drove up to Chico to see our friends CJ and Danielle. I miss them so much! We had so much fun with them, we bbq'd, Danielle tattooed me some more, and we had a few beers. Also CJ, Jeff and I watched "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" after Danielle went to bed (she had to get up early for class the next day). That movie is SO funny! We were quite pleasantly surprised!
The next day we went to breakfast after Danielle got home from class and then Jeff and I were off for Oregon. About 4 hours later we arrived at my mom's. Oh yeah, and right accross the Oregon border we totally got pulled over for doing 61 in a 45 construction zone, but the cop let us off with a warning saying "just because you're from california doesn't mean you don't have to pay attention to the speed limit signs". Way to make us welcome in Oregon douche-bag...
Had a great time with my mom. We didn't argue at all, which is a big step for us! Did a lot of shopping, a ton of riding around, and to a play at the local theater. "The Further Adventures of Heda Gabler", it was great, so funny! While shopping I got some clothes, and shoes, and some AWESOME stuff for the kitchen. Jeff got a new rockband drumset (yay wireless!!), a videogame, and he bought me a GORGEOUS diamond and white gold heart-shaped necklace. I LOVE IT!!!
When we got home the Jaybo was here...AGAIN! And we got to rock out, and hang out with Mavenist again! Good times for sure!
Then we had to go back to work, and I had to go grocery shopping, and when I got home, I bumped my FREAKIN head!
Alas vacation, I knew you well....
and will miss you dearly.
