Ah, I've done far too much driving this week.
Most of it has been worth it.
But most of it has been like this.
Or worse.
I DID get to see my Mum though.
The countryside around her new place is amazing.
And there's a barn attatched to the new house which I covet madly.
I think that they are going to use it as b+b for kayakers or walkers with room to hang all the wet stuff and a big fire and sleeping room upstairs, but i'd love to have that space somewhere.
I also went to The Design Museum again to see the Alan Fletcher exhibition.
And fell in love with this.
The whole exhibition is amazing and i spent more time just looking around than I've done for a while.
Oh and I went over to France to shop on friday, which included even more driving in the rain and wind, and a scary moment when I was overtaking a lorry that seemed intent on accelerating so that i couldnt, when I realised I had no idea where the road was and couldnt see a fucking thing.
There have been some exceptional moments in my life this week, and I'm assimilating them slowly.
I have a few more days off before I have to go back to work and I'm going to be sorting things out .
In my head as much as in my home.
Oooh, and I'm trying to decide if I should start Ceroc classes.
Its something that i've wanted to do for a while.
Well, not Ceroc specifically but dance of some sort again.
Now that my knees are shot too much for Ice Dance .... and yes, that did mean in the sparkly dresses, so go ahead and laugh...I'm hoping that 'normal' dancing wont be quite so heavy on them.
