Yesterday was our 10th Anniversary!!!!

Well, ok, so we aren't married, but it was the anniversary of our first Date, and was celebrated by nipple fights and Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers style dancing around the kitchen on its shiny floor.
Shiny because I'd had to clean it Properly for once after Emma's party rather than giving it a quick once over with a broom.

Hey, ok, housework is low on my list of interesting things to do .

Its funny though, some days its the simplest things make you happy.


This daft girl had taken herself and her hungover friends to the cinema in the hopes of recovery, and Dave Jo and i were sitting around eating one of those winter type casseroles after he got back from Gatwick and it just felt right.
No one was stressing.
Everyone was happy.
And it felt like a proper family sunday evening.

Then later when Jo had gone to bed and before Dave crashed [ being up at 4am can be a pain ] we were watching Eddie Izzard and falling about .
I love that guy.


I would love to see him live.

And now I'm going to go and do some actual work because my lunch hour is over.
