God, I have a splitting headache.
It's my own fault...I was up late again last night, but this time because Dave was spending most of the night throwing up in the bathroom.
but because of that I felt iffy this morning and skipped out on work.
and stayed in bed.
and slept far too long.
whenever I do that I end up with a headache.
Dave is relatively fine now, but still a bit on the wobbly side.
i realy ought to take something for the headache, but [ and i don't understand why myself ] I rarely take headache stuff.
I prefer to grit my teeth and ride it out.
Silly i know, but thats how it is.
I also got pissed off earlier because i got one of those bloody irritating calls to my mobile trying to get me to switch contract.
One of those where its some bored guy emphasising that he's an agent for Orange, so it's COMPLETELY ok
for me to listen to him rabbit on bout how they can give me some swanky phone plus a million texts/minutes if only I'll switch to a contract with them.
Erm..if they are agents for the company that I'm already with why would I want to switch?
And how come they don't know that I still have 8 months to run on my contract.
And really, can I be arsed to go through all that when I HAVE A HEADACHE!!!!!!
I guess it didn't help that I'd also just realised that the prescription I'd just picked up only had 50mg of thyroxine written up for and not the 75mg I'm supposed to be on.
Ah well, on a bright note I've liberated Smudge from my daughter who 'borrowed' him about 5 months ago.
this is he....
shifty bugger isn't he!

Last time I got a call like that I just repeated "take me off your call list" five or six times and hung up. Like that's literally all I said after hello.
