Ah....I've just opened the garden door to try and cool down, and now I'm getting attacked by mozzies and dive bombed by moths.
Today has been a little strange, full of lost time and maniacal deathwishdriving females.
You know those days when one second its ten o clock in the morning and the next its mid-day and you have no idea how it got there.
Not blacked out or anything, but as if time suddenly accelerated away.
Whoosh, and its lunch time without giving you time to pick up a pen.
Well that has been today.
Except that somehow i got everything done too.
I even had time to listen to the end of Innocence by Kathleen Tessaro.
Not my normal kind of thing, but since i signed up with audible I've found myself chosing titles that I wouldn't normally go for, as if the mere fact that I'm going to be listening to them rather than reading them makes a shift of genre easier.
I've got Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami and Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro pencilled in for my next listen, but my recent ones have included J Pod by Douglas Coupland and Full Moon Rising by Keri Arthur.
I really ought to get them burned to cd so i can play them in the car though.
On the way home anyone looking inside my car would have thought I was nutty [ and would probably be correct ] because I had my laptop on and locked into the seat with a seatbelt so that I could hear the last 15 mins of the story on the way home.
Oh and the deathwish crappy female driver?
Well I came accross her again this morning.
On the same stretch of road...a tiny country road with overgrown heding high on each side and regular passing places because you cant easilly get 2 cars past each other.
We've 'met' twice before and i swear each time she's accellerated faster than the last and has got closer to taking the side of my car away with her.
This time I didn't even have time to pull into the bushes...she shot round a blind corner, accellerated, skimmed my car as i anchored my brakes on ,and was a blur in my rear view mirror before I got my hands on the horn.
Next time I'm going to try and get her number plate, becuase she's going to kill someone and I don't want it to be me thank you very much.
the stupid tart has her children in the car too.
i guess she's late to get them to school or something, but thats no excure to do 50mph plus on a road where everyone else is crawling round the blind corners.

Yes I am worried, 4 hours of commuting a day doesn`t appeal. I`ll just have to get some kick ass music on the go
heavy bones? god i dont know. its so funny. i feel jus tthe same as when i left and i sweari i'm roughly the same size.
i think its kinda shaking me abit, like i always used to be the fat kid so thats in my head all the time. and say then i used to weigh like 10-11 stone annd always wanted to be less. and now, this year i hit 12 stone. and that was when i met mosta the lovely sguk people and its crazy, (to me i guess). its locked in my head, that i shouldnt weigh that much. ...
