Emily's step-mother is so terrified of the dentist that her dad has to make the appointments, not tell her, and somehow get her into the area on the day so she has no time to get worked up about it I've never understood the fear as I don't mind the dentist, but then again I know that some people aren't shit-scared of spiders like I am, so I always try and make allowances for other's fears

As for the TB immunisation news - that sounds just like the kind of apathetic, complacent crap that has caused or contributed to disasters in the past. Why can't the cretins learn from history.

I can't quite tell from your tone if you had a good time or not, but I hope you enjoyed yourself I've never liked Madness (one of the few musical acts I truly despise) although I caught an episode of the Young Ones the other day, and they were in it, performing at the local pub, which was quite amusing
Still housesitting for Emily's parents till the weekend, but that''s when things should get good for two reasons.
1. Emily and I have got her step-dad some undercar neon lights for his Ford Galaxy for father's day, so hopefully, he'll be installing them.
2. Emily's step-brother's going to be getting a whooping from his dad (and Emily's mum) because he's an unsociable tosspiece that noone likes, and his skanky girlfriend has no manners and isn't welcome at the house anymore, so I think there's the potential for much amusement there

Sounds like you had a great day I couldn't just wander about town on my own though, I like to either buy something and come home, or wander about with others... Last night the ducks at work were having a stroll across the lawn with their three ducklings. It was very pleasant to see them. It deflects your mood though the world would require a drastic makeover to make it feel wonderful for me at least.

Just proves to me that we have it all compleately wrong. That feels good because that is what we are supposed to be doing, appreciating and looking after nature.

Place yourself in the middle of any man made structure, road or whatever, sit on a bench and see if its nice or not.
