Yay! I put up 2 desktop images today! wee!
1st one (pink one):
Yep, used Photoshop CS with a skewed rounded-rectangle shape and embossed text. The shape, the image of snow and the suicide girls logo had an outer glow filter. The image of Snow (taken from Shake 2) had to be carefully selected, trimmed, and the glass had to be erased a bit to make it see through. Plus I put an image filter over her to make her match the background more. The suicide girls logo was taken from the image on the website of the suicide girls sticker. I had to select it, and carefully boost the contrast in two sections to get the whole logo visible. It isn't a great background but it gives plenty of space for icons on your desktop and shouldn't be too busy. The whole job took about 20 minutes. Hope you like it - more to come I hope
2nd one:
Got obsessed with this stuff and made another one. Ok, this one took about 2 hours, it uses 12 layers over a black background. I used 4 photos (3 of Starla and 1 of the SuicideGirls logo) numerous shape layers and a text layer. I ran a heavy poster edges filter and a film grain filter over the large picture. plus i blacked out the eyes. ... hmm, shoulda done that to the lower right hand one too, all well, too late now hehehe. ok i used black shape layers and saturation filters over the upper right picture. I used a multiply filter with a small gradient fill over the lower right picture. I also made use of sprayed brush filters over two of the shapes (saturation filter over left breast of lower right picture and large dark bar across picture) The text has a texture and is embossed, the font is "Chiller". The SG logo had a Neon Glow filter and then was inverted. The background uses a custom shape package and then a splatter filter and a pinch filter. I think that is everything... ok, i'm very tired, I hope somebody likes this desktop - but I must sleep....

Hey, thanks so much for the compliments, I really appreciate it! Yours are nice, too. And your fantasy makes me smile. Mystique is definitely one of the cooler villains.
