as usual...i am teh suck at timely updates. (warning - image heavy post about to happen...LOL!)
thanks to alissaburnelli and wendy as well as my roomies meow and vivid for the great time in Columbus at last month's Havana party. i had an awesome time and it was great seeing old friends - esp ones i have never met face to face. Also big thanks again to vivid for being the detroit tour guide. if you are in detroit and have a chance to visit DIA and see the Kenro Izu "Sacred Places" exhibit - i urge you to do so. amazing photography of amazing places.
life is the usual here - i'm busy, wishing i was a bit more productively busy - more money for the amount of work i am doing....but it's coming along - i'm getting tapped for more interesting projects and commissions.
I'm off to shoot a porn fan convention for the next 3 days...this falls under the "interesting projects" category as mentioned above.
ymonster just started my coverup to finish my sleeve design (which is a clever way of saying that i have to finish my cornink and nak pieces to actually finish the sleeve. LOL!:
very excited about some of the sets in member review - not only the ones i shot, but there are amazing sets posted at almost anytime of the day. if you don't go visit member review, you should. there are some talented shooters and models on this site. thanks for all the support with my 2 recent multi sets - Amina/Amberlynn's "Vegas Shuffle" and Chanel/Nicolelee's "Cinnamon Peeler".
My Current Sets in Member Review:
Velouria - Veil
shot in the smallest bathroom in queens. i have scars from running into the shower door and the medicine cabinet. luckily, Velouria is a bad-ass pro and rose to the challenge.
Avalon - Vegas
man, this girl rocks. she showed up, got shit done and had me laughing the entire time. nice to see her shooting sets again. thanks avalon for dodging the strollers and huge wheeled coolers that i swear every guest at Circus Circus but us were dragging thru the halls.
Tart - Misfit Love
Tart and I discovered we are both insane Queens of the Stoneage fans and this started off as a cut-scene for another set idea. we loved the look and feel so much, we decided to make it the entire theme. LOL! when you look at this one - make sure to have QOTSA blasting in the background...we did.
Sash - Lovely Loser
first of all - thanks to chopperdave for the hospitality and use of his garage and bikes. you, my brother, are good people. The set title is based on the name of that chopper - the "Lovely Loser"...i hope dave will post the details on that bike - there are hours of custom fabrication involved. (yeah, i know most of y'all are saying, "there's a bike in that set?!?"). the rockin' part of this set is that this is the first time sash and i actually got to shoot for SG, we usually just do portfolio/fashion shooting. so yay!

sushi on A? bar on A? what ELSE is on A?
question: is ymonster impossible to book or just out of sight for price?
my boy and i are in the market for a new tattoo artist. neither of us are really into tradish or oriental so that means we're afraid of 90% of what's available in this city...
I'm buying a 2008 Buell Ulysses and can't wait to finally be back on a sport bike .
Gotta have a bike for every mood . . .
