First concert I ever went to...the lights go down, the ganga smell gets real, real thick and this sound comes from the dark with no introduction, nothing. They just rip into it. Not fancy, but these were some hardcore Hillbilly Hippies--not common in the day, trust me--and the intensity just builds until the place explodes. Very fun way to be introduced to live rock and roll.
