Why do people who make $18/hour cry poverty to somebody who's only making $10/hour? This is a question that's been bothering me a lot lately, what with my home being a boarding house for my brother and all. He makes $18/hour, his wife makes $40,000/year, and yet he is constantly complaining about how broke he is to me. To me. Bearing in mind that I make $10/hour doing a dead-end job. Makes sense, doesn't it? Oh well.
One thing that everybody realizes about me within moments of meeting me is that I'm liberal. I know, liberal isn't a popular term anymore. Everybody says progressive or some other such claptrap, but I'm liberal dammit and proud. In fact, you could even call me a Socialist and not be far from the truth. Every political stance I hold is all about helping my fellow man. I believe healthcare should be available to all. I believe in a living wage, as opposed to a minimum wage. I think we should spend more money on social programs. But there is one big flaw I have. I HATE the people I'm supposed to be helping. I love mankind as a whole, and I love some people, but in general, people in a one on one capacity piss me off. I would say that I'm a mass of contradictions, but I find that many like-minded liberal people can't stand most people. I have a theory as to why. Most people are idiots! It's true. If you don't believe me just look at the election results. 51% of this country voted for Bush! That means that by definition 51% of this country think that he's doing a good job. That seems like a pretty good test of stupidity if you ask me.
Stephen Lynch is one of the funniest damn guys to ever set foot on this planet. Be warned though, he's not for the politically correct.
I'm headed to work in a moment, so let me ask one more question. Does it seem right that I, as project leader of a three man team, make one dollar an hour less than one of the team that reports to me? Kind of insane, isn't it? Have to love corporate America.

Thank god Season 7 is finally out
so I can watch those,
be done with them,
and get on with my life.
It's a shame it's over,
but Really.
It's been getting out of hand.
I haven't done laundry or washed my hair in days.
