i hate that limbo-land between lucid dreaming and consciousness... where you aren't quite fully awake, but you're aware of your surroundings... this is usually the stage where if you try yelling... you can't muster more than a mumble, which only feeds the paranoia.
a sudden turn of events means that i'll be travelling to the family cabin for the weekend. i can't tell you how happy this makes me. i was just thinking yesterday, before the turn of events, that it was sad that i hadn't made it out there yet... so much for that.
