Update:
~ Received the filters for the Nikon... the polarizer is RAD.
~ Got back from Canada mid-afternoon today. Yesterday, after arriving in Vancouver (and dinking around a bit), I felt like it was time to let Wanderjahr start his trek, and get our chicken butts outta there... however, bewildering coincidences managed to negotiate us into a hotel (uber-cheap, and uber-nice... can't go wrong with $20 a person, each getting at least a double sized bed). We did manage to walk quite a bit, which was good. Hanging out with Music was awesome... and the commraderie between the three of us was a rare one. Amazing to think that Wanderjahr won't be back in the states for another year. Bastard. Though, the ride back down with Music was an excellent one. Having only known her for a total of two days, connections were solidly made in ways that even some of my closer friends of years haven't been successful at. Muy Bueno.
~ On the brink of $0 again... lame, lame, lame.
~ Got some great shots up in Canada.
~ Accidentally got some sun! which has bumped up the start-date of the anual questioning of my ethinicity... "Greek? Israeli? Mediterreanean? Arabic?..."
~ Managed to skip the family reunion. *phew*
~ I am one tired-ass mofo.
~ Came up with a great idea with Wanderjahr and Music... though I can't tell you.
~ Best quote of the past three days: Wife: "Honey, does this dress look okay on--" Husband: "Yaaarrrr! Walk the gangplank ye tart! Yarrrrr!"
Tomorrow: getting off me arse and swabbing the decks, then sailing off to take some pictures... yarrrrr!
