got an email from mom... i've always been fascinated by the gap between generations as far as techonological understanding goes. my grandfather refused to even go near a computer. my mother, while a majority of her livelihood was dependent on one when i was growing up, still retains a sense of paranoia and... i wouldn't say fear... just skepticism maybe. she's happy as long as she can check her email (send forwards... ugh) and click on donation sites. in any case, she emailed saying that she'd seen my site, and made all the usual motherly comments. however, she also was quite inquisitive on how i'd gotten the photos into digital format...
i wonder what computer companies like compaq will do when the majority of their consumers become computer-savvy...
