well that's because you haven't figured out the site man. You're supposed to leave comments on people's journals, boards, girls' sets. If you reply in your own journal noone but you will ever read it.
Also you should put effort into your profile instead of lazy "Check myspace for a bigger list" shit. Your comments and profile is how people will get to know you.
When you get friendships rejected (and you probably will for most of the time esp with Suicide Girls themselves because they constantly get requests from strangers and 500 friends makes friend list impossible to manage) use bookmark function.
