This week @missy and @rambo have asked us to talk about our summer plans and favourite summer past times! Coincidentally my favourite summer past time is also my summer plan. Which is to spend as much time as possible in this tropical paradise..

It's my mums house! Well the majority of my family lives in Ottawa, Canada my mum lives here in Georgia, where I spent every summer in high school reading books and swimming. Two of my favourite things! Although the pool has always been there, the rest of the tropical awesomeness has been slowly added throughout the years. She's added two new decks, extended the fences, bought a hot tub, added multiple cacti gardens, built rock pathways and repainted the whole house. I guess that's the perks of not having to support kids anymore! Lol.

My mum and I both love drinking beer, reading books, and floating in pools. Yes she is insanely darker than me. She's half Italian, clearly I got all her recessive traits.

I've got a stack of books, along with a bunch of single issue comics I'm behind on, that I plan to burn through this summer. Summer reading is my favourite! I save all the easy reads for the warm summer months, since my brain is being boiled by the sun everyday.

Another awesome thing I've done twice this summer, and have at least one more trip planned, is to go on set of The Walking Dead! I'm lucky enough to call the key grip family, he's a truly amazing person, and he has invited me on set to watch the filming every season. I can't show or tell anything from this season, but here's some shots from previous visits.

And of course August is Dragon*con!! You'll have to wait and see what I dress as this year, but last year my favourite was dressing up as Harley Quinn! A friend of mine did Poison Ivy and we had too much fun that night and ended up with only one blurry photo of us together.

I have a couple new tattoos planned out, as well as finishing up my sleeve. Since I did a two week road trip in April, and was in Seattle for a week last month, I won't be traveling again until early fall. But hopefully that just means I'll get to spend more time with all my fellow Georgia babes!
