So @missy and @rambo have assigned the most adorable blog topic this week.. Talk about your pets! I am absolutely loving reading about everyone's little fur, scale, and feather babies! If you follow me on Instagram or read my blogs often you may already know I have two wonderfully plump kitty cats! Marley and Gaius.
They're both very different kitties, with distinct personalities, and their own odd habits. I'll start with Marley, he's the black one.
He will be ten years old this month, and weighs 17.5 lbs, yeah, he's a tubbers. He's been with me through so many different moves; living with friends, boyfriends, and just the two of us. He's the apple of my eye, and the first pet that has truly been my own. I love him to the moon and back, and he's the sweetest ever. The first night I brought him home he crawled onto my pillow and into my hair, he started kicking it around until he had made himself a little nest where he slept all night. He still does this, at 17.5 lbs he takes up pretty much my whole pillow every night. If my hair is in a bun, he will bite and pull the band until it's loose, and when I'm watching tv he always climbs onto my chest and rests his face in my hair. He's a little crazy like that, but he's the best! Here he is cuddling in my hair while I was working on some cosplay, this was the only way I could get anything done.

Living life on the edge!
Just a couple of kittens.
One more of Marley being a total weirdo while bird watching.
And now on to Gaius, who is named after Gaius Baltar, a character from Battlestar Galactica. I once met James Callis and was so overwhelmed I just awkwardly blurted out, 'I named my cat after you!' Yeah, I'm pretty slick.
So anyways, Gaius is two and is still every bit the energetic kitty. Unlike Marley who sleeps most of the day, Gaius is always running around the house jumping off sofas and climbing up door frames. In the mornings while I'm getting ready he jumps onto the sink, walks onto the towel rack, then launches onto the door and pulls himself up to sit on top of the door. He just balances himself there watching. He also enjoys jumping at the front door trying to hang from the locks. He's being doing that since he was a kitten, when he would hang from the doorknob.
He also loves to jump on the kitchen counter, then to the fridge, then to the top of the cabinets, where he jumps back and forth between two cabinets that are separated by a doorway until he gets tired.
Sometimes he climbs up the window panes.
I'm telling you guys, he is parkour kitty central. And he also follows the kitty rule of 'If I fits, I sits.'
Gaius also loves to go outside. I live in an apartment in the city, surrounded by some really busy streets, but I have a lovely courtyard where I take him out on the leash. He loves it, he will meow at the door if I don't take him out, which can get a little annoying if I'm busy, and he always helps me put his harness on.
He's also a super sweet little cuddler. He gives little licks, head butts, and kisses all the time. Just look at him!
When I first brought Gaius into the mix, Marley was none too pleased, and although they never really cuddle, they've gotten close a few times. And when it's time for bird watching they usually put their differences aside.
But my favourite is when they put their differences aside for cuddle time!
Hope you guys and dolls enjoyed being bombarded with kitty pics! I tried to restrain myself but I just have so many that I wanted to share.
Also! If you haven't peeped my spacetastic set Galactica you should check it out and let me know what you think.
Thank you so so much to everyone that has been so supportive and sweet! You people are frakking awesome! This little space kitten is out! Meow Meow.
