Since I'm currently sitting on a bus traveling from Philly to Baltimore I figured I would go ahead and fill everyone in on the first leg of my trip.
I had the most amazing weekend in Philly! Since my amtrak leaving Atlanta was delayed I got to Philadelphia much later than anticipated and unfortunately had to cancel my Friday shoot. Bummer. But that evening I had an excellent time with miss @pesky who is just as gorgeous in person, and an absolute sweetheart. I hope that I get the chance to hang with her again soon!
Little selfie I snapped before heading out that night.
Saturday I had brunch with two ladies who moved to Philly a year ago and I've missed dearly. I was so caught up chatting that I didn't take a single picture, but I did eat some delicious stuffed French toast. And after they took me to a really cool antique store where I fell in love with basically everything.
Then I explored a bit of the city on my own. Found a really cool place called Philadelphia's Magic Gardens. The whole place was a mosaic of broken glass, ceramic, bottles, and all sorts of different tiles.
I stared at this piece in their lobby for so long, it's gorgeous.
Later that day I had the opportunity to shoot with Corwin Prescott. I've admired his work for so long, not just the lovely shots of ladies, but his landscapes are beyond incredible. I'm so happy I had the chance to work with him! He snapped a few really great instax for me as well.
After that I was pretty pooped, so I took a dip in the hotel pool and called it a night.
Sunday I traveled into New Jersey to shoot with Chris M Day. On the train there I saw a bald eagle! Which was very unexpected to see in Jersey, but he was just doing his thing being all super majestic and eagley.
First we shot some stuff in this incredibly awesome car.
The lighting was perfect and I'm really excited to share some of those images. After that we shot in a car graveyard. Lots of car stuff! Also, this picture makes me realize how long my hair is getting!
Then we traveled to a little horse farm and got some really excellent images as the sun was setting. The whole time these two babes were just perving away.
It was an excellent day of shooting, and I was pretty much dead by the time I got back to Philly.
Oh and here's a little sundies action for you from yesterday.
I won't have the chance to watch Game of Thrones until I'm back in Atlanta, but I hope you all enjoyed the premier! I brought my little ghost cub with me because it's always good to bring a reminder of home no matter how big or small.
After being on trains and light rails all weekend I feel like this bus is going two miles an hour. It could also be because I'm insanely excited to see @roggen!! I'm just gonna run into her beautiful arms all slow motion style. It's gonna be excellent.
On Thursday her and I will be driving to Columbus for Hell City, where we are rooming with @catt_ @zephi and @firefly! So I think this is going to turn out to be a pretty epic week. I can't wait to cuddle them all!! And don't worry, I'm sure there will be a barrage of photos for you all once the weekend is over.
My set 'Galactica' comes out this week too!
But for now I'm going to leave you with this awesomeness I stole from @marceline.
Happy hunting cats and kittens!
