Hopefuls Log. Stardate 91273.41

I haven't posted a log in about two months, and that is totally lame. After I came home from Portland I fell into the post vacation blues, and once I pulled myself out of that funk it was crunch time for Dragon*con prep. I'm not the most advanced seamstress, but I think I did pretty well with my costumes this year. I did Harley Quinn for the first time in my life and I couldn't have been happier with it. Passing by different Jokers throughout the evening and hearing them say 'Oh Harley..' in their best Joker voices, I can't even explain the feels. I wish I could dress up as her everyday of my life. So this entry is just going to be a big photo drop from the weekend. And in a few days I promise to update you all on more of what I've been up to the last two months.

DRAGON*CON!!!!
Thursday night is one of my favourite nights. The air is electric with the excitement to come. I kept it simple in my BlackMilk gamer dress, but a lot of other folks went all out. K-9!! Found my sexy girlfriend Number Six! An awesome Walking Dead group. Chewie!!! Also captured a sweet off duty Stormtrooper in the background. Run DMC inspired Trooper. This guy is there every year and he's a total sweetheart. And yes, the boombox does work. Dead Lady Stark makes Steven a sad Steven. For all my Mass Effect fans, the male Shepard even said, 'I'm commander Shepard and Dragon*con is my favourite convention.' Found a Deadmau5 joker, Harvey Birdman did in fact get that thing I sent him, and held up some blue stuff with everyone's favourite bad boys.
Friday! I headed out in one of my favourite BlackCraft shirts for a day of rushing from panel to panel. I didn't take a single picture during the day, so onto the evening. Adam and I went out as Jon Snow and Ghost! My awesome friends, Lauren and Jeff, made the most perfect BeetleJuice and Lydia. Snuggled up to my boyfriend, Predator. I even made the guy inside this Predator suit laugh. It was a good moment for me. Boogied with Lana. Danger Zone Lana!! Danger Zone!!
Saturday!! Left the house in a BlackMilk Vader swimsuit and spent most of the day cuddling up to hot actors. Meeting Malcolm McDowell was definitely a high point for me, he's been on of my favourite actors for a long time and the fact that he was rubbing up on my tattoos just made me blush like crazy. And then I pretty much died when Nicholas Brendon gave me the most awesome hug. Coolest man in the Galaxy! Mr. Billy Dee Williams. And when Tahmoh Penikett wrapped me in his huge arms I melted all over the place. I am a HUGE BattleStar Galactica fan, and always get all swoon city around the BSG boys. Unf. Ran into these two awesome cosplayers dressed as The Will and Gwendolyn. Saga is one of my favourite current running comics so I was happy to see some other fans. Saturday night was by far my favourite night. I can't wait to dress up as Harley again soon! Cuddled up to my puddin' and joined forces with Scarecrow. My sexy friend Lauren was the Ivy to my Harley, unfortunately, the only picture that turned with both of us in it, you can't see the epicness of her Poison Ivy. But you get it. Also, saw this insanely awesome Littlefinger. He looks so much like the actor, it was crazy. Humping robot from Robot Chicken. Ruby Rod!!!
Sunday!! Woke up late, and rushed out of the house so no selfie from that morning. And I only have two pictures from the day, but they're good ones. The insanely beautiful, and super nice, Lucy Lawless!! I swear she looks even better now. Damn girl. And I ran into the super babe Marceline! She was so sweet I'm glad we ran into each other. So onto Sunday night! I kept it simple as a Vulcan Science Officer. Live long and prosper bitches! Pre-gamed in a friends room at The Westin. The reflection from the TV looks like a giant ghost floating over Atlanta. TARDIS life! First photo is from Saturday, and went back for some more love on Sunday night. Jessica made the most perfect Willa, even this Vulcan wanted a taste. Gir!! With some of my sexy lady friends. Found my Number One! Ran into silly friend Ethan at the Yule Ball. And with my very best friend Steven!
Monday morning I woke up with my Vulcan ears still on! It was another morning of rushing out to get to panels on time. I cried at the end of the BSG panel when Edward James Olmos led the crowd in a round of 'So Say We All''s. It's probably my favourite show, and it felt like I was on the Galactica with the Admiral, it was pretty amazing. But of course it was topped by the moment I actually got to huge the Admiral himself! We tried to find the William Shatner booth, but I guess he had left early, so Nicky twerked on his sign instead.

And just like that the weekend was over. Everyone said tearful goodbyes and a few of us headed to drown our post con sorrow in margaritas as we exchanged stories from the weekend. There were so many moments I didn't capture, I can't even try to explain them all. But I will say this, Marina Sirtis told me I looked gorgeous and that I have the best hair colour in the world, and I just about exploded. As well as getting a hug from Brent Spiner, which was just perfect, and ran into Janina Gavankar in the dealer room. I was so star struck I managed to get out, you're gorgeous.. I love you.., and that was about it. She really was though. Like really really gorgeous.
So yes, the most magical weekend in Atlanta has come to an end. As anyone that has attended a con can attest to, going back to the real world is a bitch. I spent the last two days hard creeping on all the lovely sets I missed over the weekend and that definitely did help some. So here are some sexy ladies you should also go creep on. All of these are fellow hopefuls so make sure you show them extra love!!

First up! Marceline_. I can tell you this lady is even more of a babe in person, and sweet as hell. Go check out her set and show some love! This girls smile is so perfect, I can't get over it. Go show some love to Catt_ in her new set! Another girl with a perfect smile, and frakking gorgeous eyes! Show QueenMabb's set Wonderland some lovin! The absolutely gorgeous redhead, with a killer smirk Sairyn, show some love. I love this girls hair colour, and her awesome set just went into Member Review so make sure to show some love, Noctuam. And one more sexy redhead for you. Scarlettxx's set went into MR in June, somehow I missed it, but I'm glad I finally go the chance to peep it. This girl is gorgeous. And one more hopeful for you. Not only is Nubia a freaking goddess, she is a total sweetie too! Go love on her set that came out last month, you know you want to.

And I'm going to wrap up this blog with a sneak peek into my set 'Promises' that comes out October 4th! I wont be posting many teasers, so you'll have to make sure to check it out in October! I'm really happy with it, and I hope you all will enjoy it too.
