I spent three hours on the edge of a river yesterday. I was reading a book on the consciousness of nature and how the amount of consciousness we grant to things like trees, birds, stones, has changed and evolved through history in poetry.
It was the first time in a long time that I spent three hours without a panic attack.
I'm really worried I'm becoming a misanthrope. I'm already a curmudgeon. Not much more to go from there.
Here, top ten things to do after moving furniture:
10. Sit down.
9. Have a beer.
8. Read Robert Bly essays.
7. Eat a Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap.
6. Invent a sport.
5. Call your mother.
4. Sweat.
3. Play with legos.
2. Think about hockey for a while.
1. Fall asleep on the highway.
Football season starts soon.
Excited about my friends being excited for it.
Thinking about getting in to it.
Reasons why I never did:
I played it in fifth grade and got the snot kicked out of me.
I quit all competitive sports around fifth grade.
I never liked the kids who liked sports until I grew up and was over twenty.
It's sort of "neanderthal (sp?)" as my friend Andy says.
Baseball is better.
My mother is cooking haddock.
And I need to take Paxil.

I feel anxious sometimes also. If I find a good cure, Ill let you know. Your trip to the river reminds me of how much I need to run off to the woods right now. I shrivel up if I dont run off into nature every day or few days. It has a horrible effect on me, and I get worse and worse until I go to some beuatiful spot in the woods to renew. By the way, tiredmountain is a good name, I can relate. later dude.
