So I've been getting sick and it's been pretty crappy and yesterday was especially bad, even moreseo because I had a paper due so I had been up late and then gotten up early to finish writing it. I've been taking echinacea and Airborne and Sudafed trying to get better but I felt pretty shitty and since I only work from 3:30 to 5 on Tuesdays, I figured they could live without me and I called in sick. After I finished my paper (about five minutes AFTER my class started) i realized I was in Ly's room and she doesn't have a printer, so I e-mailed it to myself and ran to the French office to print it out. After my class I realized I didn't have the bibliography so I ran back and printed that. I didn't see Jeanny (my boss) either time, but I guess she saw me, because today she was like, "I saw you in here laughing (wtf? i don't remember laughing I was pretty miserable) yesterday after you called in sick. I don't like being taken advantage of because I'm nice to you guys. I don't mind giving you time off, I just don't like beign lied to."
1. I don't remember laughing.
(1.5. Are you not allowed to laugh when you're sick?)
2. I was printing out a paper, not like, being frivolous.
3. At the time she saw me, I was not even scheduled to be at work. It's not like I was there even though I said I wouldn't be there. I was there between classes.
4. At the time I was supposed to be at work, I was in bed. BECAUSE I'M SICK.
It just pisses me off that she would assume I was lying to her. Maybe she doesn't like being taken advantage of. You know what I don't like? People thinking I'm a liar. I've worked so hard to be an honest and open person, and I think it's a pretty well-known fact that I don't like to lie because all it does is get you into more shit, as I have learned the hard way. So where does she get off calling me a liar? Have I EVER taken advantage of her kindness? Does she have any history of lying to base this off of? I think I am going to write her an e-mail tonight and send it to her because I don't have to work tomorrow and she'll have until Friday to think about it. I usually love her, she's one of my favorite people ever. I want to cry right now.
