Do I have been going zine crazy these past few days; I have completely forgone writing for academia and indulged in my own narratives. Thus, I am eternally happy, but slackin' a bit with everything else. Oh well...

Vanity is much better than self hatred. But too much vanity can be a bad thing. For this reason, I'm not going to tell you how beautiful I think you are. I don't want to make your problems worse.
I think your tattoo idea sounds cool, but like you say, it should be done in a way that makes it at least legible. I think you can do it, and yes, take your time. Tattoos should never be done in haste.
