Well I thought it was about time to update everyone with some photos screw all the writing and reading. Its all about the photos.
So my trip started down in NEW YORK City.
Capture the all American living our big hummers with our McD and lots of lights and bling bling hehe
Then I was off to Casablanca in Morocco.
Side note - air maroc is awesome.. nothing like getting free vodka on the whole flight to Morocco.. that flight attended lady was super nice. I think I only drank for like 4 hours and the last 4 hours I was out totally out hehe.
Anyways here are some photos.
This was the great wall that protected the old part of town. Right across the street was the port.
This is in the French district of the city. The major area of the city is actually the French area. Just cause back in the day when France took over Morocco they really took over and developed the area into what france used to be back in the day. A lot of French caf and French restaurants are still around and most people speak French and Arabic. I loved it. Cheap food.. great palm trees all over and oh ya did I mention very cheap everything.
For 1 canadian dollar I got 8dh and most meals only costed me about 20-30DH and for a hotel room (no need for hostels in morocco) it was around 70-100DH so around 11$ a night - >
In something like this an old French house transformed into a hotel.. with its 15 feet high ceilings and like 8 foot high doors and marble all over.
But they did have a hostel in town.. it was for 40-45DH. The guy at the place was rude though so I pretty much said screw this.
These next couple are from Tangier, Morocco
I must say that Morocco is a cheap place to visit and its a great place to visit and so much to see. But also you must be careful.. a lot of huslers and beggars and its a place that you must be pretty much strong inside and also at the same time be respectful and be patient. I was about to flip on a couple people on different occasions but I stayed cool and respectful and it worked out and I am still here a life so I am happy. I guess this sort of thing can happen in any country you travel too that is poor or well not as fortunate as we are in Canada.
When I took the ferry to Algeciras in Spain I sort of did not take any photos when I spent my time in that city or also when I spent my weekend in Cadiz. In Cadiz I took part of the biggest festival in Spain.
Words pretty much cant explain the energy and the amazing time I had at this festival. It was better then any concert I have been to, any party or just anything. The old town was completely full of people my age 20 30. It was full of people all dressed up in anything you could image. I was blown away by the detail these people put into these outfits. So many perverted ones and so many guys dressed up as skanky woman hehe with huge fake penises. It was just amazing. Not to mention everyone was drinking out on the streets and playing loud music and playing instruments and many drums. 2L bottle of beer goes for less then 2 euros so hey hahah how can you go wrong with drinking like a fish.
But ya I can not describe the whole experience cause words just cant. You must see it and experience it yourself.
But the day I arrived in Spain I spend my time with these 2 italian girls backpacking too.
Francesca to the right and Luna to the left. (they found it cold then you got me with my tshirt having a cold coke. )
We also then meet up with Francescas friend that is from Madrid, Spain .

So I traveled with them from Algeciras to cadiz then up to sevilla.
A photo of a house in Sevilla.
Next off I decided to go to Ronda (east)
On the way to Ronda is when I started to really see the great mountains of Spain

My Hostel in Ronda
Old part of town
So as you can see Ronda is just breath taking a city build on top of a mountain I loved that city. It was a nice small little town that I just feel in love with. Going out every morning to the little stores buying fresh buns and meat and cheese and making my breakfast and lunch.. then going out later in the day and buying fresh dinner and making it. Ahh if only it was like this in Canada.
After spending some days in Ronda I left to Malaga.
I was actually excited for this city but was shocked and surprised to discover how boring this city really was.. not much to see do or anything. Even the stores and entertainment was weak. So I only said for 2 days and took off. I did go to the Picasso Museum though.
Cathedral.
- after you see so many Cathedrals you sort of get sick of them after a while.. but still always amazing to see how they build them and just the time it must have taken and the pure heart that everyone put into making them.
Granada was next.
I fell in love with this city too. Its for sure a must see in Spain.
I also hiked up the damn huge assss hill to get to the Alhambra. Hahaha it was well worth it though.
Its 10euros to get in but its completely massive.. it was build by some Arabian king back in the day when the Arabians took control of this region. Its amazing though the detail they put into everything and the huge water fetish this guy must have had.. it was all over. The gardens too. Never seen such beautiful gardens. A must see.
That would be one hell of a place to do a SG set at too hands down every corner of that place would be just perfect.
Valencia
I must show you guys the Market in Valencia, apparently its sort of the biggest one in spain or something.. or the best.. not sure.
See that meat you see hanging is it ever good.. yummy but to bad its very expensive too. From 75euro to 145euro a kilo. So when I got 4 very thin slices it was 11euro.
The poor area right in front of the beach and right beside that you got all the big hotels and rich caf and restaurants.
I also really experienced a lot in Valencia, from the poverty to the crack heads and just pretty much drug addicts to the prostitution and just getting always asked if I want weed, hash, or anything else they had.
At the time they also started this yearly festival.. they would at 2pm every day in the square set off these damn loud explosions.. it was loud trust me these you could feel inside you when they went off and it like almost took your breath away if you stood close enough to the circle. It was so crowded too. Anyways the last day after a couple weeks they would burn something of the last year they did not like. They would make a huge thing and just burn it.
Last year I was told they made a huge statue of Bush and his friend Blair. And they just burned em. Hehehe I bet this year it will be bush again.
After Valencia I booked it off to Barcelona.
LET the drinking and the no sleeping begin.
Its been like over a week and ya going to bed at 4 or 7 and waking up at 10 and its a nasty cycle. But this city is just the shit.
This is long enough already so I wont speak about Barcelona for now I will just say that this city is to perfect and its so addictive and its like a drug
Ok gota run.
20C+
Also forgot to mention a very important part of spain great food, very cheap beer.. I mean cheap.. 1euro to 1.50euro for a large glass. Not to mention when you ask for whisky and coke.. they make some very dangerous drinks, they are extremely generous when they pore you that whisky.. they pore and just pore and next thing I know is that my glass is full of whisky and they give you a coke bottle on the side. So after a couple of those I am feeling pretty damn good.
W0ot 10euro and I am drunk.
