A Backwoods Virtuoso In the Making

Im not all here this morning
Mentally
Ive been typing and retyping and nothing is coming out quite right
So I keep erasing
Going back to the beginning and trying to come at it from a different angle
Putting an undue amount of stress on myself
And for what?
I guess Im not really sure
Could it be to entertain myself?
Maybe Im actually deluded enough to believe that this might entertain someone else beyond the moment
Theres no danger of that happening now, though
In writing this Ive actually made myself dizzy
Ive managed to confuse myself
I dont have it in me, however to start over
So this is what Im left with
Rambling
Pointless rambling
Though thats a bit redundant

Anyway,
Ive been listening to a lot of country music lately
Most of the selections have been made based on recommendations
Hank III, Wayne Hancock, Shooter Jennings
I think all of this goes back to O Brother Where Art Thou?
What did this lead to?
Me buying a banjo
Now
I just need to learn how to play it
Anyone wanna give me lessons (or know someone to give me lessons)?

The term friend is used way to loosely
We might have gone drinking a few times
We may have known each other for an extended period of time
Or went to college together
Or high school together
None of this means anything
I have to stop myself here from going off on a tirade
Because what is said will be taken out of context
If it hasnt been already
Then Ill be asked to explain myself
