Those Aren't Pillows!!!!!

Every time I move I misplace something that I need
Actually
Misplace is too fancy a word
Throw out is more accurate
Unintentionally throw out is even more so
Maybe its because I pack using black garbage bags
Maybe the reason why it happens is irrelevant
The fact remains: it happens every time
When I went away to college
It was my alarm clock and my towels
When I moved back home it was half of my t-shirts
When I first moved to Brooklyn it was all but 3 pairs of pants
When I moved from Bushwick it was my socks and my underwear
(Yes. All of my socks and underwear)
When I moved to Greenpoint it was 3 blankets
Over the course of my latest move
I managed to lose my pillows
Not one or two pillows
But five
And all but one of my sheets
Considering how often I move
I should have this down to a science
Alas
I do not
Looks like there is a K-mart trip in my future
Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time.
