my foot was doing that too, because i was trying desperately to get callouses off. but then it was hell to walk on...

Where are you from in Scotland? My family is from the area around Braemar. I know, German tourists at Easter and Royals in August. But man, iDeeside is absolutely beautiful (it also meant a great deal to me to bring some of my Dad's ashes to the cairn back in '96). I also remember drinking quite a bit in Edinburgh - and eating too many toasties and meat pies.
