went downtown after the KU team won.
had to be the craziest mob experience i've had.
i've been in huge crowds before but this was different.
the exuberance and emotional high everyone was on was a vibrating force.
half of the whole town was on foot yelling and highfiving.
all of mass st. was full of people.
i wanted to get some pictures and mill around for a little to soak it in and then beat feet.
everywhere was a celebration.
the release of pride and ecstacy amid disbelief and slow breaking realisation.
helecopters, flag waving, fireworks, noise, car horns, swirls of humanity.
tides shifted and i walked back up the hill.
