You know what? I'm going to put some whining here. I've come to despise this holiday. I feel like a man with palsy, trying to hold up a house of cards. Last year, my grandmother died the day before thanksgiving and I'd spent three days in the hospital with her. I slept draped across her hospital bed giving her comfort when she needed it.
Then I dealt with my father dying as well, about two months later. Not my favorite time of year...

The first ever SGSTL X-mas party will be held at The Atomic Cowboy in Maplewood, on Saturday, December 20th. The party will start at 8pm so that the festivities do not conflict with dinner and so that there will still be ample time to partake in the St. Louis nightlife. All SGSTL members are encouraged to bring guests. We will be having a gift exchange that night and all members will be required to bring one gift ranging from $5-$10.
